Milestone Nyle

There would be no Post 701 softball team if not for the founding member, Nyle Nelson. Nyle hit a big milestone back on July 12 when he won career game #30 vs the Old Timers. Diamond Notes stats go back to 1997 and being that Nyle pitched for many years prior to 1997 it stands to reason that he has many more wins than 30. With that being said, Diamond Notes takes the time to honor the founding member on his accomplishment. With 300 innings pitched he carries a lifetime era of 4.50 and enjoyed his finest year back in 2000 when he sported a 4-2 record with a 1.71 era while holding the opposition to a .233 batting average. In the drive for their first title since 2002 Nyle is undefeated with a 4-0 record and a 5.64 era.
