GAME 1 MVP: SHAUN KRUTZ

All he has done in his brief Post career is hit .465 with 18 extra base hits in only 144 at bats. In 2010, Shaun Krutz began right where he left off in 2009 by going 3 for 5 in his first game of the year with a single, double and homerun. He scored twice and knocked in five. For his outstanding performance in Game 1, Shaun Krutz was name Game 1 MVP.

GAME 2 MVP: LORENZO FIORILLO

He is averaging a homerun every 28 at bats and has a career ba mark of .436. He can play both second base and any outfield position and is arguably the fastest player in the league. All "Kiddi Korp" member Lorenzo Fiorillo did in Game 2 was go 3 for 3 with 2 singles and a homerun and score 3 runs. For his dynamic Game 2, Zo earned game "MVP" honors.

GAME 3 MVP: MATT BECK

Matt Beck was responsible for four of the six runs the Post scored vs Emerald, using both his power and speed to account for those runs. In the first inning he smashed a long 3 run homer and in the sixth he laced a one out single, stole second and came around to score on a sac fly. He is the all time Post leader in rbis with 169 and is only two hits shy of becoming only the second Post player to reach the 200 hit milestone. A career .361 hitter, Matt is the worthy recepient of Game 3 MVP honors.

GAME 4 MVP: MATT BECK

As time goes on he gets better and better. Over the last 3 full years he has hit .343, .378, and .375 and during that time he has knocked in 51 runs. The all time Post leader in rbis (173) has an amazing 12 ribbys in just four games in 2010. With his quick start he now has double digit ribbys in 8 straight years. In game 4, Matt Beck had a bases clearing triple in the first and a leadoff double (his 200th career hit) in the third to pace the 701ers to a 11-5 win over Rockton House. For his outstanding performance, Matt was named the Post's Game MVP for the second consecutive game.

GAME 5 MVP: AARON KELLY

He has played 20 games in his year plus Post career scoring 30 runs. In addition to playing an excellent outfield, Aaron Kelly is a scoring machine when he gets on base. In only 5 games in the 2010 season Aaron is far and away the top run scorer with 12 runs scored, and amazing 2.4 runs per game average. He is hitting .556 during the current season after a .465 average in his rookie year. In the 21-5 drubbing of the Recovery Room, Aaron was 4 for 4 with a double and a triple in addition to doing what he does best, scoring runs as he crossed the plate 4 times while knocking in two. For his game 5 heroics, Aaron was named Game 5 MVP.

GAME 6 MVP: DANNY AURICCHIO

Danny Auricchio is a career .444 hitter and is one of only four Post 701ers to break the century mark in runs, hits and rbis. He holds lifetime totals in runs (102), hits (116) and rbis (102) while his last hit places him 7th on the all time list passing Bill McCord. During the current year Danny is on a 6 game hitting streak batting .524 with a .615 on base pct. He had a big hand in the 4 run comeback win over St. Michael's with an rbi single in the 6th and the game winning single in the botom of 9th to give the Post a hard fought 5-4 win. For his game 6 heroics, Danny was named game MVP.

GAME 7 MVP: DANNY AURICCHIO

He is on an incredible streak over the last 3 games going 8 for 11 (.818) with 3 runs scored and 4 rbis. His average has jumped .198 to .583. Danny Auricchio is now second in average and carries a .655 on base aveage. In the 5-2 loss vs Shortys all Danny did was go 3 for 3 with and rbi in getting 3 of the team's 7 hits. For his efforts in Game 7 Danny was named game MVP.

GAME 8 MVP: GAVIN MURDOCH

Gavin Murdoch is in his 12th year playing in a Post 701 uniform, but he has not gotten as much as 20 at bats since 2006. When the Post was short 4 regulars vs The Rookies, Skipper Vinny Fiorillo called upon the veteran and the founding member of the Greybeards did not disappoint. He retired the first Rookie batter on an infield pop and got the second batter on a backhanded grab and accurate throw to first. Gavin rifled an rbi single in the first and a 2 run single in second. His day was cut short after his second hit because of aggrevated quad, but for setting the tone early and coming through in the clutch, Gavin Murdoch was named Game 8 MVP.

GAME 9 MVP: MIKE CARTER

He has seen limited playing time in his brief 4 year Post career. However, Michael Carter has made the most of his opprotunities when called upon. Filling in at second base vs the Cameo Orioles Michael hit a long 3 run homer in a 13 run first inning. Carter singled in the fourth and ended up 2 for 3 in the game while bringing his average up to .341. He now has 7 extra base hits in only 41 at bats which computes to a .634 slugging average. For his Game 9 success, Mike was named Game MVP.

GAME 10 MVP: DANNY AURICCHIO

Dan Auricchio joined the Post in 2004 and has put up startling numbers since his rookie year. In that short time he has a career triple/double with 110 runs scored, 128 hits and 108 rbis. Perhaps the mark he is most proud of is his 13 lifetime homeruns. His first inning HR against the Old Timers made him the number one homerun hitter in Post history, passing his late father, Rich Auricchio who played his last game in 2007 and hit his last homerun in 2005. Danny did not stop with the first inning blast as he added a single and double to his ledger along with 3 runs scored and 2 rbis. Thus, for the third time this season, Danny was named Game MVP.

GAME 11 MVP: MATT BECK

Matt Beck is on his way to his best year since 1999 when he hit .488 and had a personal best 21 hits. In 2010 he has hit in 9 of the 10 games that he has played, including his last 3 straight in which he has gone 7 for 10 (.700 ba) with 5 runs scored and 8 rbis. In the come from behind win against Castros Matt was on base all three times including the game winning, 2 run single in the fifth. For his clutch play, Matt was named Game 11 MVP.

GAME 12 MVP: RAY FYFE

Ray Fyfe is a 13 year veteran and is one of 11 Post players to surpass the 100 hit career mark (he has 106). His 80 runs scored puts him 8th on the all-time list. In game 12 vs Guns 'N Hoses Ray was at his best in a tough 13-12 extra inning loss. Ray led the team with 3 hits (double and 2 singles), a run scored and 3 rbis. For his game accomplishments, Ray was named Game 12 MVP.
